Industrial
Operations systems and dashboards for industrial businesses.
Based in Charlotte, NC. Serving manufacturing, industrial, and healthcare businesses locally and remotely across the US.
Industrial businesses use IMANT Group to track equipment, maintenance requests, work orders, inventory, and customer accounts across one or more sites in a single system. We build custom dashboards, CRMs, and operations systems and connect the equipment data and software already in use.
What we see most often
- A fault noted on paper and relayed by word of mouth.
- Work orders in one place and parts in another.
- Each handoff depends on someone remembering to pass it on.
What the cost of downtime looks like
| Statistic | Figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Yearly revenue lost by the Fortune Global 500 to unplanned equipment downtime | 1.4 trillion dollars, about 11 percent of revenue | Siemens, True Cost of Downtime report (2024) |
That figure comes from the world’s largest companies, but the mechanism is the same at every size: equipment that cannot report its status to the people responsible for it costs real money. Smaller operations lose less in total and often feel it more.
What we build for industrial operations
- An equipment status dashboard that shows what is running, what is down, and what is waiting.
- Maintenance request and work order tracking, with requests assigned automatically.
- A multi site view, so each location and the whole operation are visible.
- Parts and inventory tracking linked to work orders.
- A CRM for service accounts, with full service history in one record.
- Mobile friendly forms for staff in the field or on the floor.
What this looks like in practice
A machine faults on the second shift. In many operations, someone writes it down, mentions it at the next meeting, and maintenance finds out when somebody walks over. In an operations system, the fault is logged once, a maintenance request is created and assigned to whoever is on call, and the dashboard shows the machine as down until it is resolved. Nothing depends on someone remembering to tell someone.
Common questions
Can you connect to our equipment?
Often. Many machines expose data through a controller, a database, or a file export. We assess what is available before promising anything, and when a machine offers nothing usable we can add a simple data entry point instead.
Can one system cover several sites?
Yes. A multi site design shows each location on its own and the whole operation together, with users limited to the sites they work with.
What is a work order system?
It is a system that records each maintenance or service job, who it is assigned to, its status, and the parts and time involved, so nothing gets lost between shifts.
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. The first call is a free, brief introduction, usually 20 to 30 minutes, to understand your business, your challenges, and whether IMANT Group is a good fit. More extensive technical assessments or discovery work may be quoted separately, and we will tell you before any paid work begins.
Talk through a system for your operation.
Tell us where work gets stuck. The first call is free and brief, and we will outline a practical first step. Deeper assessments are quoted separately.
